Delightfully quirky story that matches Charlyne's character perfectly. Teasing reality/fantasy format works very well here. She lampoon's herself and anything else with charming whimsy! Refreshingly offbeat.

I couldn't tell for a while if this movie was a serious documentary or a mock-umentary. I tend to lean on the latter. The main cast are comedians, the man (Comedian Jake Johnson) "filming" the documentary is also being filmed by the real…

Mildly interesting at best. Charlyne is certainly quirky, and that very quirkiness offers the hope of a refreshing and off-beat look at the nature of love and relationships. Unfortunately, the film quickly loses focus and morphs into a…

Quirky & different. The characters are endearing.

The fact that the reviews below are so mixed should tell you that it takes "quirkiness" to a new level. I'm coming down on the positive side for this movie. I liked Charlyne and her best friend and I thought they were sweet together. …

This is an offbeat movie about finding out how to relate to love. Just like first sexual experiences, its awkward and unexplored territory. What makes the heart tick and the mind tick. If everyone forgot their first ventures into…

Let me just say that Ive been drinking (not drunk but not feeling extremely serious or critical) and I thought it was a cute, silly, innocent movie. I like Michael Cera (he's like the the italian version of Jessie Isenberg) and I think…

Heads up, talk about suicide by movie, this is the film that slits your wrists! UGH! This documentry is about a young lady, I think is in her early 20's but acts like 10 who says she doesn't know what love is and is in capable of…

Strange little movie. The fancy camera work indicates multiple cameras or takes, and so gives the game away. The "exploration" of love isn't that revealing, and the plot is rather slow. Possibly self-indulgence on the part of the makers.

It has some heart to it, to say the least. At times it can be confusing since it's a documentary with a fictional story interwoven in it. It could have been better.

an interesting pseudo-documentary but the only parts that can be trusted as true are the non-actors who are interviewed. Various sources say that the 2 actors were or were not an actual couple for a time.

It was cute and kinda boring at hthe same time.

This movie does a great job of mixing the pseudo romance between the two main actors and its documentary pieces. A light little piece of fluff.

Skip It - Paper Heart (2009) 88 min. Dull uninspired and unfunny documentary-style picture about Charlyne Yi looking to discover what love’s all about. Even Michael Cera couldn’t save this film The only redeeming quality of the picture was…
