Audio narration highlights each word as it's read. So it's easy to follow along. You might have to tell your child you can't actually grow a watermelon inside your belly if you accidentally eat a seed. But otherwise a quick and funny…

Greg Pizzoli is one of my favorite illustrators. Each of his books generally follow a color scheme of about 3 to 4 different colors, usually muted tones, and they are so eye-catching!

My daughter adored this book, she would ask to read it again as soon as we finished it. Even at two she got the joke. And the harder she laughed the more I hammed up the crocodile's distress.

This book really catched my little ones attention. She loved it so much that she memorised what was written on each page even if she doesn't know how to read. Short sentences made it easy to read to a 3 years old.

This hilarious picture book has a vintage feel with a touch of modern gross-out humor. The almost-3-year-old in my house has requested it nightly.

The screenprinted illustrations and fantastic use of only green, pink, black, and white give the book a vintage feel, as if it was published long ago.
