This is a favorite at our house. We substitute Cardinal bird for red bird and Mommy for teacher. I have also made flannel board pieces. My teacher friends loved them.
Eric Carle is a master... my kiddo LOVES this one!
A classic in Children's literature. Kids love the simple story pattern, colors and animals. After a couple of readings, children can picture read book back to parents.
It's funny because he sees lots of animals looking back at him. - Joseph, age 7.
Accompanied by Eric Carle’s beautiful collage illustrations, children will delight in the colour, the animals, and Bill Martin Jr’s gentle rhyming text.
With repetitive phrases and vibrant colours this remains a favorite picture book to share with young children.
I like reading this book to my little sister.
Great for child's first book that they can read on their own...until they memorize it!
My 3rd years old love this book, great book!
