Thomas Chaloner is relieved to be summoned back to London. His master, the Earl of Clarendon, has sent him to Tangier to investigate a case of corruption. Thomas Chaloner, always doing a pretty good job walking a fine line. He does eventually get to the bottom of things, but with a fair share of bumps bruises and problems of his own. Love this series. Looking forward to books 8 and 9
