how sad it all was, this and ruby ridge. but is it enough to bemoan 'a dark period of our history?' that Koresh predicted the fiery end during a negotiation call with the fbi is more than simply ironic. if someone is out to do you harm then they're not likely to pass up opportunity, even if the inspiration comes from yer own lips. (in other words, it was your idea, your prediction) something similar happened to John Lennon. in the interview conducted in Playboy magazine that was on the newsstands while he bled his life out onto the New York sidewalk, he said, "I can never understand why those who go on and on about peace, are the ones who get shot." Now you or I reading that wouldn't be inspired to gun the man down, but chapman, might have been so inspired. it's moreover depressing to realize that the government run by Bill Clinton perpetrated this horrific holocaust on innocent women and children. the atf were using Bradley tanks to start the fires that burned the whole complex down. later they said they were opening up escape routes for the women to run out of. and only introducing tear gas into the compound, not fire itself. the judge who presided over the trial of several survivors, overturned the jury's findings, and gave an average of 30 years in prison, to each defendant. there aren't any photographs in this book. there don't need to be. and to think that Hilary had the balls to run on her husband's record, and with him campaigning for her. he was quoted, while president: "the Branch Davidians murdered each other."
