I have to admit that I was pleasantly surprised by Lost & Found. I wasn't expecting such "dark" stories from a juvenile graphic novel. Actually, the three unconnected stories compiled in this volume are relevant to people of all ages and the art, to me, is fantastic, but that just might be because I like this particular style. For example, one image depicts a little girl looking at the wonders beyond her reach, behind a window padlocked with regret. The stories deal with depression, self-identity and feelings of alienation. Without stereotyping too much, they would be ideal for teens and/or tweens.
