Chomsky claims: /// So Kennedy simply invaded the country. \\\ Actually, it was during the Eisenhower administration that US military advisors were first sent in to Vietnam, and it was during the JFK Administration that JFK sent out his State Department memo, disseminated through military channels to state offices, that all advisors were to be withdrawn, beginning in late November of 1963. This declassified memo was later publicized during Richard Parker's book tour [Harvard University's Parker was the co-founder of Mother Jones magazine] in 2003. Suggested sources to contradict everything Chomsky: Battling Wall Street, by Donald Gibson, and Two Days in June, by Andrew Cohen. Chomsky claims /// Contrary to a lot of mythology, Kennedy was one of the hawks in the administration to the very last minute. \\\ Read those books, and JFK's executive orders and notes and legislation, then re-read Chomsky's lies.
